  2. Show Two factor Auth status on Team page.

Users can turn on two-factor authentification in their account.
But there is currently no way to see if the team members you have in your team have enabled it. It makes it impossible to enforce two-factor auth and poses a security risk.

Suggestion: Show "2FA enabled" next to team members that have enabled it on the Team page.

  3. Have more users with super admin permissions

A common use case is that the business owner or someone administrative will own the account, but someone else (like IT manager) would be actually managing the systems.

Right now, the main account holder is the only person who can add users so it brings the top cat to do crappy techy work they hate doing. We need a way to grant permissions to another member with full capabilities.

  4. inode

    Add option to purge inode,
Right now the only option to do this is just through support.

  5. Stop server from leaking SSL information

If the application is served through a WAF, you don't want anyone to bypass the WAF by accessing the server using its IP address.

Cloudways gives us the option to disable access to the application using the IP address only (apache Access Application via IP). However, the web server is still responding to SSL requests, thus leaking the certificate information that would include the common name.

The SSL certificate should only be presented to the WAF/requests using the hostname/URL and not by accessing the IP address.

It seems that cloudways is using nginx as a reverse proxy in front of…

  6. Improve staging for WooCommerce sites

    Hi..
    I love Cloudways UI..
And one of the things I found very handy was the staging functionality you offer (+ the recently added option to select tables).
Nevertheless, I have to say that I tried 2-3 times to create a staging site for a Woocommerce project ..and all of them I failed to successfully push changes back to the live site, without messing up the purchases/orders IDs.
During a 2 week staging period for testing and upgrading ..the live site had new sales and Orders (and incremental ID order) which I had to maintain.
    The database tables to exclude…

  7. Add 'use lower case for domain address' to avoid issues with SSL installation

This will avoid any issue with installing SSL certificates when the domain name is in uppercase anywhere in the console.

  8. Provide alerts on successful SSH and SFTP login

Please provide alerts on successful SSH and SFTP logins to a server.

These alerts are important for visibility of when someone has accessed the server and making sure that access was expected.

  9. Update All Applications On A Server to the Latest Version of WordPress

On my server, I have only WordPress websites. Would love to have a way to easily update ALL applications on my server to the latest version of WordPress by clicking a button and not having to go in and manually do it for each application. Thanks!

  10. Accept Discover Credit Card as payment method.

I am in utter disbelief to learn that I cannot pay my bill because my business uses Discover. Discover is one of the most popular networks, what gives? Why???

  11. A feature that enables admin to add a member for a specific project or server or application.

It will be great if you introduce a feature that enables admin to add a member for a specific project or server or application. This will help freelancers and small firms giving limited server access to their clients.

  12. email or sms when your server goes over limit

When an application goes over its allocated limit of CPU/RAM/SDD, an email or text message could be sent to the owner to alert them of the situation. The message could include the details of log files of the offending application or problem so the owner can quickly resolve the problem.
    Thank you!

  13. During the Let's Encrypt autorenewal process, add a htaccess file to work around protected roots

If you have a .htaccess in the root of your application, that adds a htpasswd based auth password for the entire site, the Let's Encrypt autorenewal process fails. The process create a subdirectory, .well-known/ and uses it for the renewal process, deleting it at the end of the process.

There are two easy ways to get around this that I can think of:

    1. do not delete the .well-known directory at the end of the process. so that us customers can add in the .htaccess file in there if we want to, to leave it readable

    2. as a part of the…

  14. support git submodules

having shared libraries between applications is a nightmare on the cloudways platform. It would be super simple if it just supported git submodules

  15. Allow Remote-SSH (addon) connection from VS Code

When using Remote-SSH addon for VS Code:
    https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ms-vscode-remote.remote-ssh

I think it tries to install something on host (and fails).
Allowing to do so will support working on remote files directly from VS Code which will be super-cool and convenient
    =)

  17. Backup of single application disk space rule

I realized from support chat that we can't take local application backup if there is not enough disk space for a server backup. This is so unfair and I'm now stucked on not beeing able to backup.

Example: your server disk usage is 15GB out of 25GB available.

Your app usage is 1GB. You can't take local backup of this app because there isn't enough space to take a backup of the whole server.

That's how it is currently set up, and that's so totally broken. I got really pissed off. + There is no such information in their guide…

  18. Let us specify a billing contact for invoices etc.

As the main account holder I want to have invoices sent to another email address of my choosing, so I don't have to manually forward them to the person who deals with our finances.

  19. Feature Request - Indicate if application is enabled in 'Applications' dashboard / tab

I sometimes spin up demo apps for clients but then don't hear back (or other reasons) - I don't feel comfortable deleting the apps but would like to quickly turn off 'stale' ones & test the waters

It would be amazing if I could just see a red/green indicator or even better a toggle switch to enable or disable the app on this page https://platform.cloudways.com/apps

    ie: the 'APPLICATION ACCESS' flag

I think the same feature would benefit this endpoint as well :)

  20. The curl version 7.52.1 is too old.

The curl version is 7.52.1 installed by Vps is about 4.5 years ago. Is it too old to use newer functions or plug-ins?
