Ability to name folders upon application creation or rename w/o symlink
Folders are difficult to identify when accessing via FTP, and changing the name results in an additional symlinked folder which results in more clutter (e.g. 100 sites -> 200 folders). Would be nice to have a better way to name these initially or rename without a symlink. I know config files for nginx and apache would likely have to be rewritten but I would think that this could be done programmatically.

Enable support for Cloudflare Argo Tunnel
Right now you can't install cloudflared which is required to run Argo Tunnel.

I want to be able to delete backups
I can't see how much space each backup takes up (Like in GCP or AWS) and can't delete backups if I don't want so many backups I'll be paying for! (Especially for scheduled or accidental backups).

Password prompt for staging needs work
The password prompt for staging site doesn’t work with password managers and prompts multiple times even when entered correctly. I love the staging concept and that it’s protected by default but the current mechanism makes it difficult to actually use.

Automatically copy symlinks from git repo
At present if there are symlinks within a git repository they are not copied over into the project. An admin then needs to manually go into the app and recreate the symlinks. It would be great if those links were copied over automatically when pulling in a git repo.

Restore MySQL application for Debian9 servers
I would like to have the possibility to use MySQL service on new Debian9 servers on DigitalOcean.
I've just created a new server and noticed that i can only choose three version of MariaDB.

App containers
In 2019 it is absolutely a must to be able to use servers as app containers. If you are not gonna implement Docker support I suggest you enable us create apps as app containers.
So if I have one server to be able to create app specific config. It means one app can have certain version of php, mysql, node, npm, git, python, and another app completely different versions of them.

Current MySQL Breaks Export, Import Database With Virtual (Generated) Columns
I have this database with a table that has 2 generated (virtual) columns. I exported my database using your built-in database manager. Then I imported the SQL using the same tool. Unfortunately, there's an error, and it said that values are not accepted for virtual columns. Upon checking this bug reports: (1) https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=79148 , it says there that the bug is already fix in higher version of MySQL.
Please update the available MySQL version, please.
What I did just to get around with the bug was to manually delete the exported virtual columns with their values in the exported SQL…

Make phpmyadmin as default database manager
Hi,
Why don't make phpmyadmin as the default database manager. Everybody uses it. All tutorials on the web are about this manager.
Not this cloudways default manager.Now i always need to do a complicated time taking installation.

Remove Domain Limitation on Magento Hosting
there is limitation of 100 additional domains in Magenot Application Servers Hosting.
It is not accepting wildcard url as well.
Please either remove this limit or extend it to 200 or so.
this is the only point that is making me think on moving my magento stores to Cloudways

Integrate mod_evasive to mitigate DDoS attacks
DDoS issues are getting out of control. It would be a good idea to integrate mod_evasive apache module to mitigate them.
I was suggested by the support team to mitigate the attack using app level firewalls but that's far to be an optimal solution.
They confirmed that the current infrastructure of their servers is not ready for adding this apache module but they are open to evaluating it as an option.

auto update application to higher MySQL version if required by the destination server
When cloning an application to a destination server that has a higher MySQL version than the source, auto update the application to the higher version.
This would save so much time and hassle of creating an intermediary server, cloning to it, upgrading MySQL on the intermediary server and then cloning to the destination server, and then deleting the intermediary server

Add purge-all-caches option to server selection UI
Currently, to purge server-level caches, we must go to Servers › Server Management › Manage Services and then clear each cache individually.
Adding an option to purge server caches to the overflow menu (the three vertical dots) at the top-level server selection screen (platform.cloudways.com/server) would reduce these 5-8 steps per server to only two clicks.

Elastic Emails add BCC to (or send a copy of) every outgoing email to admin
So admin has a copy of all transactional emails. (Can be misused if your app sends login details which should be secure, but for the rest)

Feature Request: Log analysis section
I made contact via suppot chat and ask if it was possible to install GoAccess on my server for a visual and accurate log view.
Since it was not possible all i can do is suggest to make a section on server panel to analyse server logs and have a clear vision of traffic and load.Gabriel G.
