  1. Permit restores when free disk space is available !

    Today i've facing a BIG problem :

    • I have a DO 2GB Server with 40GB disk
    • My apps (total) take about 20GB of disk (50%)
    • One of my apps take about 5MB
    • I can't restore that app (or any other app) as i have "no free available disk space" ??

    After contacting the support they told me that "Yes, if all your applications size is 20 GB, then you need more then 20GB of free disk space as system count total size of all the hosted applications, not the single app."

  2. Drupal core update!

    Please update Drupal core to current 7.35, also - it could be an option to update core from admin panel and have "autoupdate" turned on...

  3. Add PHP 5.5x to your stack options

    My developer is asking me for a stack option using PHP 5.5x, it would be great this could be offered on ClicknGo platforms especially considering PHP is recommending 5.4 to be phased out: http://php.net/archive/2014.php#id2014-09-18-2

    Default applications are launched with PHP 5.5 From Server Settings & Packages section you can now upgrade to 5.6 or downgrade to 5.4 ( plus upgrade mysql, replace it with mariadb and deploy redis).

  4. Lowercase

    Hello!

    When i hover over the "i" symbol right to "x apps" i get "Domain.Com" at "https://clickngo.cloudways.com/server/list/". I think that it would be better if it was all lowercase. "domain.com".

  5. Post a support article for setup drush alias

    When setting up drush alias from local computer, its difficutl to know the URI, remote-host, remote-user

  6. get rid od stupid NewRelic spam emails

    HI. I didn't asked, but you installed Newrelic.OK, but I cannot get rid fof their stupid apex < score alerts. Even If I save mail preferences from their unsubscribe link - I'm still getting the same messages.
    HOW TO GET RID OF IT ??

    Or step 6 to stop it.

    This week we are going to add option to completely disable it (so not started again on reboot).

    Following community feedback, we are going to deploy it stopped by default on new servers, and when accessing Monitoring → Application tab, you will be prompted to start the service to enable application monitoring.

    We can’t control the alerting default settings when deploying and we are aware that is has created some noise with people with certain applications.

  8. Include Google Compute Engine as a cloud provider

    Include Google Cloud Platform as an Infrastructure Provider. Google's infrastructure is probably the best in the world, and a great alternative to Amazon's AWS and DigitalOcean.

    In addition, it's price can go as low as $6.05/mo.

  9. Stop Relic from SPAMMING me

    I'm getting dozens of emails per day from RELIC. When I try to unsubscribe, it takes me to a subscription page (no unsubscribe option). When I look at my services in your applications console, it says it's turned off. I DO NOT WANT THIS SPAM.

    Chris, these issues are better and quicker addressed through our support portal than in the feedback page.

    In any case we have taken a look:

    • New Relic service was started from console. I have now stopped it.
    • Also I have disabled all alerts from your New Relic account, so now you shouldn’t receive any more alerts from New Relic. If at some point you want to use it, you will have to start the service and re-enable the alerts.

    When will you support in full Magento 1.9.1.0 with MySQL 5.6 and PHP 5.5 ? From Magento website: Better site performance and security, now that Magento Community Edition 1.9.1 works with MySQL 5.6 and PHP 5.5. MySQL 5.6 offers merchants improved site speed and scalability, reduced memory usage, and enhanced debugging tools, while PHP 5.5 provides security improvements and ensures merchants have continued access to PHP code updates.

    This is now live. We are creating KB related to it but for those who want to try it now, you can activate it from member area under info details section:

    It uses Google Authenticator (install it on your mobile device) and then scan the presented QR code and activate.

  14. For WordPress Installation and W3 Total Cache

    The W3 Total Cache plugin, General Settings, should have the Minify and Database Cache methods pre-selected, like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy

    These should be pre-set like the Page Cache, Reverse Proxy, etc..

    Not a high priority but useful for those new to Cloudways.

  15. fixing Magento install

    When I installed Magento - it showed this: http://prntscr.com/61qx05
    Even when I disabled varnish on Magento and cloudways, I was unable to add product to the cart. Empty Cart.
    After few hours - it started to work. But auto-install is corrupted.

    Auto Installation is not corrupted, You will need to disable PageCache by Phoenix (magento extension) to get rid of the scattered text. This you can do it easily from magento admin.

  17. Add the Date of Credit Card (CC) successful authorization and update

    I used to work in an online payment provider, so I see that you can not display most or any of the payment information. So my only feedback could be that it could be a big help for a customer to see the last suceccful payment information date/time. This info should be or can be imported into your system from the payment provider, and makes us sure that our last update were successful.

    Add Drupal Drush command pm-update, currently does not work. In order for this to work, users need permission to write to a file outside of the http root directory. This should be pretty straight forward to create a dir users can write to outside the http root dir. A dir like this could be used for a number of benefits.

  19. Whitelisted IP Addresses from console

    Add the ability to whitelist an IP Address or series of IP's from the Server Settings Screen so that is not effected by the DenyHosts feature "Added the following hosts to /etc/hosts.deny:"
