Activate the Elastic Email SMTP Add-on for each server rather than per account
At the moment, Elastic Email's SMTP email service can only be enabled at the account level. In my situation, though, I oversee more than fifty operational servers with a single account. Because of this, it is exceedingly challenging to keep track of how much each project's email consumption costs.
Instead of activating the SMTP add-on for the entire account, I would prefer to be able to do it for each server. I could then distribute email volumes according to the utilisation of each server. I could, for instance, enable 12,000 emails for Server Y and 50,000 for Server X. I…

Custom URL support for staging environments
It would be very useful to be able to configure custom URLs for staging environments. For instance, provide a CNAME and prepopulate the required DNS record so that users can configure staging.theirdomain.com easily.

Lightning Stack: Enable Better Support for htaccess dependent Plugins
Feature Request: Enable Nginx Rules File Management & Better Support for htaccess-dependent Plugins
As a professional web developer working with agencies and clients who rely on plugins that modify the htaccess file for security or functionality, I believe it is crucial for Cloudways’ Lightning stack to provide:
• The ability to directly manage or edit nginx rules files, especially since the Lightning stack does not support .htaccess modifications. • Enhanced compatibility or documented workflows for commonly used WordPress plugins that depend on htaccess rules. This feature would significantly facilitate deployment and security configurations for professional developers and agencies, ensuring robust…

Auto-login button
In the control panel of each application, there are credentials listed for the current app. It would be highly convenient if clicking the “Admin Panel” link could automatically log the user into the WordPress admin area using the credentials provided below. This feature would streamline access for administrators, save time, and improve the overall workflow by eliminating the need to manually enter login details each time.

Add ability to exclude varnish caching for relative url's on a server level.
Ability to exclude varnish caching relative for url's on a server level. Need /availability to not be cached on all sites hosted on a server. Such as not caching the relative url /availability on all sites hosted on a server. Would prevent having to configure settings on multiple applications.

Making the Cloudways Dashboard More Intuitive and Pleasant to Use
I think the Cloudways dashboard could be made more user-friendly and visually appealing. Right now, some workflows feel a bit “click-heavy,” and the design—while functional—could be smoother and more modern. Here are a few ideas for improvement:
Dark Mode – Easier on the eyes, especially for those of us working late.
Customizable Dashboard – Let users pin their most-used tools and hide what they don’t need.
Streamlined Navigation – Fewer clicks to get to common tasks like restarting services or viewing logs.
Mobile-Friendly Layout – A responsive design that works well on phones and tablets without zooming and scrolling.

Query AWS RDS from Digital Ocean
I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience querying an AWS RDS (specifically MySQL Geometry Vibes) from a Digital Ocean Droplet. I totally understand it would make much more sense to host both services on the same platform but in this scenario it is not going to be possible. We’ve already added the DO ip addresses to the approved list in AWS. All I want to do is query our RDS database from programs running in our DO Droplet. Has anyone run into this specific issue or know of any documentation that addresses this?

Data trapped in DigitalOcean managed service
Up until last week I would have said DO managed MySQL was awesome. We have a very large SaaS running on it (hundreds of millions of rows in total across tables geometry dash lite).
BUT then someone expressed interest in buying the SaaS, but they don't want to run on DO.Guess what? There is no way to get the data OUT of a DO managed mysql instance except for mysqldump. You cannot set a non-managed droplet to be a slave (or an offsite instance, like you can do with AWS). You also cannot run Percona tools because DO…

PHP 8.4 Upgrade
PHP 8.4 was released in November 2024 and I think it would be great to have PHP 8.4 rolled out as an option for CloudWays servers. Currently the max PHP version you can select is 8.3.

Optimizing WooCommerce Hosting for Mylar Bags Product Pages on Cloudways
Hey Cloudways Community,
I’ve been running a WooCommerce-based packaging store on Cloudways, and I’m currently looking to enhance performance for some high-traffic category pages—especially our Mylar Bags product page https://packagingforestllc.com/product-category/mylar-bags/.
We offer a wide selection of custom Mylar Bags, including options with resealable zippers, child-resistant features, matte/gloss finishes, and full-color printing. Many of our customers are in the food, cannabis, and supplement industries, so fast page loads and a smooth browsing experience are critical for conversions.
Since these pages include multiple high-res images, dynamic filtering, and customer personalization options, I'm looking for advice on:
Optimizing load speed without compromising…

Account level IP whitelist + improvements
You should add account level IP whitelist (and blacklist) so that we can add all of our third party services access without going into each server.
Other improvements that would be beneficial:
- Add a toggle to automatically whitelist Blogvault's migration servers.
- Add toggles for other popular services, for example WP Umbrella.
Thank you.

Look Into DigitalOcean Premium Performance Issues
I had migrated to DigitalOcean Premium via Cloudways a number of months ago and experienced numerous periods of very noticeable site slowness where pages may have taken up to 10 seconds to load. I used to be on a Vultr HF server and never had this kind of issue, despite the fact that the Vultr server is farther away geographically.
I just migrated my applications back to Vultr HF and the slowness immediately went away. So, it's looking like DO was the problem.
I suggest you look into issues with the DigitalOcean service.

Cloudflare - add option to prevent bypass
I suggest you add a Cloudflare option which prevents any ip having direct access to website unless its through Cloudflare. Currently it's very easy to bypass Cloudflare unless you add a custom rule for us. But it would be better if it was an options
